What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Sales Representative (Agriculture) position at EnableSA (Pty) Ltd?
· The focus being to manage the companies
business in the market and to help execute strategies for the designated areas.
· The incumbent will pursue annual sales
targets set for key distribution agents, customers, crops, varieties, and
current products and will assist in introducing new products into the
designated areas.
· Administration (area budgeting, forecasting
and reporting, support of sales operations including depot and stock
management, documentation etc)
· Sales & Relationship Management: Managing
relationships with agents and industry stakeholders, growing agent network.
· In orchard applications of specific products.
Requirements
· Grade
12
· Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or National Diploma
in Agriculture will be advantageous.
· AVCASA / BASOS certification with practical
experience of crop protection will be advantageous. Candidates will be required
to obtain AVCASA if employed.
· Min 3 to 5 years’ experience in agricultural
sales and marketing as well as technical expertise.
· Knowledge of the export fruit industry value
chain and the influence of phytosanitary pests, plant diseases and maximum
residual levels in this industry.
· Willing to travel extensively
· Valid driver’s license (Code B min)
· Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
products (Outlook, Excel, Word etc, and GIS skills is an advantage)
