What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Accountant position at EnableSA (Pty) Ltd?
· Prepare monthly
management accounts and supporting schedules
· Maintain general
ledger and process journal entries
· Perform balance sheet
and bank reconciliations
· Prepare financial
statements in line with IFRS for SMEs
· Prepare and submit
VAT201, EMP201, EMP501, and other statutory returns
· Assist with
provisional and income tax calculations
· Ensure compliance with
SARS requirements and deadlines
· Liaise with auditors
and respond to audit queries
· Assist with annual
budgets and forecasts
· Perform variance
analysis and reporting
· Support management
with financial insights and cost control
· Maintain proper
accounting records and documentation
· Ensure adherence to
internal controls and accounting procedures
· Assist with process
improvements and system enhancements
Requirements
· Grade 12
· BCom Degree in Accounting / Financial Accounting
· Completed Articles
· 1–2 years post-articles experience
· Experience with accounting software (e.g. Pastel, Sage, Xero,
QuickBooks)
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills
