What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at EnableSA (Pty) Ltd?
· Prepare
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS /
IFRS for SMEs
· Maintain
the general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries
· Perform
balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
· Assist with
budgeting and forecasting processes
· Liaise with
external auditors and manage audit processes
· Ensure
compliance with South African tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)
· Prepare and
submit statutory returns
· Maintain
compliance with Companies Act and other relevant legislation
· Analyse
financial performance and provide insights to management
· Prepare
management reports and variance analysis
· Monitor
cash flow and working capital
· Identify
cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies
Requirements
· Grade
12
· BCom
Accounting or equivalent degree
· Completed
SAICA Articles (essential)
· Minimum 3
years post-articles experience
· Experience
in financial reporting and tax compliance
· Exposure to
audit processes
· Strong knowledge of IFRS / IFRS for SMEs
· Proficiency
in MS Office
· Xero and
Draftworx experience preferred
