Junior Mechanical Engineer

·         Assist with the design, analysis, and development of mechanical components and systems

·         Support senior engineers with engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications

·         Prepare and update technical documentation, reports, and manuals

·         Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and inspections

·         Assist with maintenance planning, fault finding, and root cause analysis

·         Ensure compliance with South African standards (SANS), safety regulations, and company policies

·         Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders when required

·         Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost‑saving projects

·         Maintain accurate engineering records and drawings

·         Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requirements at all times

Requirements

·

·         Grade 12

·         National Diploma / BTech in Mechanical Engineering

·         Recently graduated or up to 2 years’ relevant experience

·         HVAC industry experience will be an advantage

·         Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)

·         Valid drivers license essential

·         Candidate must already reside in the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area
