Our client in Port Elizabeth has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join their team! Someone who can grow the client base, nurture existing relationships and deliver tailored solutions with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management — Acts as the primary contact for clients, engaging regularly to maintain strong relationships, resolve issues, and provide customized, purpose-fit solutions.
- Sales & Business Development — Develops account plans, identifies new opportunities, assists with business proposals, and works closely with the Sector Head to grow and retain the client portfolio.
- Reporting & Administration — Reports weekly sales and service statistics, compiles quarterly reports on overdue boxes, and maintains an accurate, up-to-date client database.
- Document & Records Management — Ensures effective classification, management, and retrieval of client documents in line with each customer's retention strategy, including notifying clients of past-due dates.
- Market & Legislative Awareness — Stays informed of market trends, competitor activity, and legislative requirements related to document and records management, keeping management updated.
- Service Quality & Issue Resolution — Ensures the portfolio is adequately serviced to meet customer satisfaction, resolving queries and complaints timeously and escalating service delivery concerns to the relevant teams.
Requirements
- 3 year Degree/Diploma/Higher Diploma in Sales/Marketing/Retail
Management
- At least 3 years’
experience in a sales/business development role, preferably in Information Services.
- Account management experience in document management and archival
related or similar industry sales will be preferable.
- Must have business to
business (B2B) experience.
- Must have experience in
tender document preparation.
- Must have own vehicle
and valid driver’s license.
- Experience
in SAAS will be advantageous.
