As a Site Manager at EMR, you’ll support core operations and help advance our sustainability mission. In this role, you’ll lead a skilled team, represent EMR to local customers and oversee sit safety, material flow, inventory and shipping to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Position Summary
As a Site Manager at EMR, you’ll support core operations and help advance our sustainability mission. In this role, you’ll lead a skilled team, represent EMR to local customers and oversee sit safety, material flow, inventory and shipping to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Work to create an excellent experience or customers and employees while minimizing costs and maximizing volume and margin at the facility
- Oversee preventative checks, maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities
- Ensure accuracy of stock through systems management
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements
- Oversee work products of third-party contractors
- Ensure compliance with city, county, state and federal regulations
- Analyze data, set goals, make recommendations and perform other duties
- Management/supervisory experience of daily operations, especially in an industrial environment
- Hands-on experience operating equipment and machinery
- Experience in the recycling or demolition industry, with knowledge of scrap metal commodities
- Experience leading a team and committed to developing employees
- Excel skills and the ability to learn our proprietary software
- PMP certification or similar accreditation
