Pressure Washing Technician Lead – Camden / Philadelphia / Delaware
Location: Camden, NJ (Daily Report) | Travel to Philadelphia, PA & Delaware
Pay Range: $22 – 30/hr
Schedule: Full-time, Year-round
Shift: Wednesday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (subject to change based on business needs)
Department: Eastern Metal Recycling
We are currently seeking a Pressure Washing Technician Lead to oversee and perform industrial pressure washing operations across multiple EMR locations. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for someone with strong mechanical skills, experience using commercial-grade pressure washers, and the ability to lead a small field crew.
The selected candidate will report to our Camden, NJ location daily before traveling to assigned job sites in the Camden, Philadelphia, and Delaware areas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Kärcher (Hotsy brand) hot pressure washers to clean heavy industrial equipment
- Lead, train, and support pressure washing team members across multiple job sites
- Plan and coordinate daily schedules and routes for pressure washing crews
- Drive and maneuver a truck towing a 20-foot trailer to and from job sites
- Conduct routine inspections and perform light maintenance or troubleshooting on pressure washing equipment
- Monitor job quality and ensure compliance with cleaning and safety standards
- Enforce proper use of PPE and adherence to company and site-specific safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of completed jobs, maintenance logs, and team assignments
- Communicate job progress, staffing needs, and equipment issues to the Building Manager
- Perform pressure washing tasks alongside the team
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Proven experience operating Kärcher (Hotsy brand) or similar industrial-grade pressure washers
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a field-based, labor-intensive environment
- Ability to safely drive a truck and tow a 20-foot trailer
- Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities
- High attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and efficiency
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift/move heavy equipment
- Must be comfortable working at heights when required for equipment cleaning
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must report to Camden, NJ daily
- Comfortable working year-round in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel daily between EMR locations using company vehicles
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and carry light to moderate loads
- Should not be afraid of heights, as some cleaning work may involve ladders or elevated platforms
- Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing schedules
