Job Overview
We are seeking a warehouse skilled candidate to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment in our Canoga Park, CA location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing outgoing orders, handling incoming shipments, managing inventory, and completing all necessary paperwork and data entry. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, safety protocols, and mechanical knowledge as well as computer literacy.
Responsibilities
- Print and prepare shipping labels for product
- Operate pallet jacks to load and unload materials efficiently.
- Perform shipping tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of shipping and receiving orders.
- Handle heavy lifting and materials handling while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse environment by ensuring proper storage of materials.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by preparing materials for transport
Experience
- Must be computer literate
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation, including pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of order picking processes and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong attention to detail.
