About the Opportunity

A well-established professional services organization is seeking a detail oriented Legal Assistant to join its Beaumont office. This position provides administrative and operational support in a fast-paced legal environment and offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and professional staff.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer service focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and office staff

• Prepare, proofread, organize, and maintain legal and business-related documents

• Manage electronic and physical filing systems to ensure accurate recordkeeping

• Conduct research and gather information to support projects and assignments

• Maintain accurate records, databases, and tracking systems

• Coordinate communications with clients, vendors, and external contacts

• Respond professionally to inquiries by phone, email, and in person

• Schedule meetings, appointments, and other business activities

• Assist with document management, scanning, filing, and record retention

• Monitor deadlines and assist with special projects as needed

• Perform additional administrative duties to support office operations


Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Associate degree, paralegal certificate, or related education preferred

• Previous legal assistant, administrative assistant, office coordinator, customer service, or professional office experience preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally


Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications

• Experience with document management systems, databases, or legal software is a plus

• Strong computer, data entry, and file management skills
