Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manufacturing Lead to oversee daily operations on the production floor. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of manufacturing team members to meet production goals efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
- Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
- Conduct training sessions for new employees and ongoing development for current staff.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, report on performance metrics, and assist in troubleshooting operational issues.
- Enforce company policies, standards, and procedures across the manufacturing floor.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflow and recommending process enhancements.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing or production environments, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate between departments and resolve issues promptly.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, process optimization tools, and proficiency with manufacturing software systems.
