Machine Operator - All shifts!

Employment Solutions is hiring Manufacturing Operators for immediate openings on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift in Somers, CT. These positions are being offered on a temp-to-hire basis.
Pay: $18, $19, $20 (depending on shift)
Location: Somers, CT

This role is responsible for operating molding machines and performing secondary operations while ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Overview
The Manufacturing Operator will operate injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, perform inspections and assembly, and maintain accurate production records while adhering to quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machines and perform secondary assembly operations
• Inspect parts to ensure visual and dimensional quality standards are met
• Complete production, inspection, and scrap documentation accurately
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and product traceability
• Perform basic troubleshooting on auxiliary equipment
• Communicate quality, equipment, or safety issues to supervisors
• Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, GMP, and HACCP standards
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Meet attendance requirements and support production needs as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and initiative
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours while bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting
