Job Summary
A skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler is needed to join a growing team in a precision-driven manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background and an interest in learning unique soldering and basic electronic assembly techniques. The position involves assembling complex components and systems with accuracy, using various tools and working from wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components according to engineering specifications and wiring diagrams.
- Perform precision mechanical assembly using hand tools, fixtures, and measurement devices.
- Carry out basic wiring and non-PCB soldering tasks (training provided for unique soldering techniques).
- Inspect and measure components using calipers, digital multimeters (DMMs), and scales to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Strong background in mechanical assembly.
- Experience using hand tools and mechanical measurement devices (e.g., calipers, scales, DMMs).
- Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
- Willingness to learn and perform non-standard soldering techniques (training provided).
- Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of electronics.
- Previous experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
Work Environment
- Hands-on role in a manufacturing or lab setting.
- Requires standing, bending, and lifting components up to 50 lbs
