Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Fitter Welder role located in Milwaukee, WI. The Fitter Welder will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, laying out materials, fitting parts together, and performing welding tasks. Daily responsibilities include preparing materials for welding, setting up welding equipment, executing welding tasks according to specifications, and inspecting welds for accuracy and quality.
Qualifications
- Experience in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Proficiency in fitting materials and components accurately
- Skilled in using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Knowledge of welding safety protocols and procedures
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification is an asset
