What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder/Fitter position at BCA Industries?
BCA Industries is a growing contract manufacturer and primary manufacturer. Product lines range from simple job shop work to complete industrial recycling systems. Our welder/fitters need to have the skills to be able to change to different job types rapidly and accurately complete projects on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- MIG and TIG welding of Steel, Stainless, and Aluminum (16 GA to 2" plate)
- Reading shop drawings with proficiency
- Open table layout of weldments
- Quality control of assemblies
- Grinding and metal finishing
- General shop equipment usage (drilling, sawing, and torch cutting)
- Overhead crane and forklift operation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years minimum MIG and TIG welding Steel and Stainless
- 3 years minimum fitting
- Mechanical assembly knowledge
- Overhead crane and forklift experience
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must have own tools (welding helmet, tape measure, combination square, hammer, chisel, wrenches, etc.)
- Machining and/or CAD experience is a plus
Overtime available
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
