Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through project completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules and milestones
- Oversee subcontractor performance and coordination to maintain workflow efficiency and project alignment
- Enforce rigorous safety standards and ensure full compliance with OSHA and job site safety protocols
- Manage and maintain detailed project schedules, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Establish strong working relationships with subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery
- Take ownership of active projects, ensuring seamless transitions and consistent execution across all phases
- Drive field execution excellence through effective planning, communication, and problem-solving
- Provide leadership across multiple concurrent projects, adapting to varying scopes and geographic locations
- Utilize construction management software to track progress, manage documentation, and support reporting requirements
- Continuously improve operational efficiency in scheduling, reporting, and coordination processes
Qualifications
- Five or more years of superintendent or field leadership experience in commercial construction
- Demonstrated ability to manage full project schedules from preconstruction through completion
- OSHA 30 certification with a strong track record of job site safety leadership
- Willingness and ability to travel consistently across regional job sites
- Experience leading subcontractors and coordinating field operations on active construction sites
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore or Project Site
- Experience in hospitality or multifamily construction environments preferred
- Familiarity with tilt-up or prefabricated construction methods preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders
