This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Position: HR Assistant

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $24/hour

Experience: 0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Job Description

• Support the employment area with scheduling interviews, handling reference checks, and personnel changes.
• Provide overall administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining and processing documentation and records.
• Compile and prepare data for statistical reporting.
• Answer employee questions about policy and procedures, and refer to specialists as needed.
• Assist with projects, such as HR events, benefits open enrollment, employee communications, and company-wide meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
• Ability to use general office equipment (copier, fax, phone systems, etc.).
• Understanding of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level.
• Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.) and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
• Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
