Accounts Payable Specialist

This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Position: Accounts Payable Accountant

Location: Wailuku, HI

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $25/hour

Experience: Accounts payable experience is preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Employers Options is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Route incoming vendor invoices to the proper person for approval.
• Enter approved invoices into the NetSuite accounting system.
• Set up and maintain Vendor Master Data.
• Resolve discrepancies on vendor statements and open purchase orders.
• Assist users with GL coding for AP invoices.
• Gather invoice support for accruals at the end of the accounting period.
• Pull support documentation for annual external audits.
• Support the design and enforcement of internal controls as needed.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Accounts payable processing and reconciliation.
• Microsoft Excel and Office proficiency.
• Experience with NetSuite or other accounting systems.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
