This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Position: Janitor

Location: Kihei, HI

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $20/hour

Experience: At least 1 year in janitorial, maintenance, or facility cleaning roles preferred.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday or Friday–Tuesday; 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Description

• Open and secure areas like trash chutes, rooftops, and restrooms.
• Follow a daily cleaning checklist from management.
• Perform cleaning tasks: mopping, sweeping, disinfecting, and vacuuming.
• Use equipment such as pressure washers, floor machines, and squeegees.
• Support special projects like floor cleaning and painting.
• Report maintenance issues or suspicious activity.
• Move heavy items and work at heights when needed.
• Ensure areas open on time each day.
• Interact courteously with guests, residents, and team members.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Experience with cleaning tools and techniques (pressure washing, scrubbing, etc.).
• Ability to operate power floor machines and other equipment.
• Comfortable using ladders and lifting heavy items.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning agents and safety protocols.
