Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $24/hour

Experience

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Jewelry, art gallery, or luxury retail experience is a plus but not required.
  
  

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm

Job Description

• Welcome and assist customers in a warm, professional manner.
• Build relationships with guests and provide personalized recommendations.
• Educate customers about local artists, jewelry collections, and featured products.
• Process purchases accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Gift wrap purchases when requested.
• Restock merchandise and maintain organized, visually appealing displays.
• Assist with inventory counts, receiving merchandise, and pricing new products.
• Keep the showroom clean, organized, and well-presented.
• Answer customer questions in person, over the phone, and through email when needed.
• Follow opening and closing procedures.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computers and POS systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
