FSQA Coordinator – Bilingual English/Spanish
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM. Scheduled hours may vary based on production needs.
Pay: $60k-65k DOE
Job Summary
We are seeking a Bilingual FSQA Coordinator to support our Food Safety and Quality Management System. This position will work closely with the SQF Manager and other departments to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, customer, and SQF requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct food safety, GMP, sanitation, and quality inspections.
- Monitor production, packaging, finished products, labels, weights, and specifications.
- Collect and document environmental, ingredient, water, and product samples.
- Maintain accurate food safety and quality records.
- Identify and document quality issues and non-conforming products.
- Assist with investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Support internal, customer, regulatory, and SQF audits.
- Track corrective actions and maintain audit readiness.
- Assist with employee training on GMPs, food safety, sanitation, allergen control, and quality procedures.
- Communicate food safety and quality concerns to management and production teams.
Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish – required.
- 2 years of experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, food safety, microbiology, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, Preventive Controls, allergen control, and sanitation.
- SQF, BRCGS, or other GFSI experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Comfortable working around production equipment, noise, dust, odors, and varying temperatures.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends or different shifts, may be required based on production needs.
