Packing Supervisor – Bilingual English/Spanish
Hours: 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday. Scheduled hours may vary based on production needs.
Pay: $75-80K, DOE
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Packing Supervisor to oversee daily packing operations and lead a team of 15–40 employees and temporary workers. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and experience in food manufacturing or production.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily packing operations and assign employees to production lines.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and production goals.
- Lead pre-shift meetings in English and Spanish.
- Train, coach, and hold employees accountable for performance and attendance.
- Enforce GMP, SQF, FDA, OSHA, and company safety standards.
- Complete production reports, downtime logs, and other required documentation.
- Address staffing, equipment, and production issues quickly.
- Work with HR and management on employee performance and corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
Requirements
- 3 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, packing, or production.
- Experience supervising 15 employees.
- Experience with GMP, HACCP, or SQF standards.
- Bilingual English/Spanish – required.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
