What are the responsibilities and job description for the 340B Program Specialist - Pharmacy position at Emplify Health and Careers?
The 340B Federal program enables us to purchase medications at significant discounts, helping us manage healthcare costs effectively. We are looking for a dedicated professional to ensure the accuracy of data, program configuration, and retrospective auditing to maintain compliance and continued participation in this vital program.
What you will do:
- 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
- Ensure that the 340B program is utilized & records are complete for Emplify Health (both Gundersen and Bellin regions).
- Responsible for day-to-day compliant medication procurement, billing, and inventory management.
- Assists with implementation of and adherence to 340B related policies and procedures.

What do you need:
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 1 year of healthcare related experience
- Apex Advanced 340B Operations Certificate Program within 18 months of hire
- If Pharmacy Technician, must hold or obtain Certified Pharmacy Technician credential (CPhT or ExCPT) within 12 months of hire
- Pharmacy and/or pharmacy purchasing experience in multiple pharmacy types and knowledge of EPIC preferred
- Registered as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician in the state of WI preferred
