Pay Rate: $20.00-20.00 per hour (negotiable upon direct hire)
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry / Logistics Clerk to support high-volume data entry and daily logistics operations. This role involves handling shipping documentation, coordinating with vendors and carriers, and generating reports across multiple systems. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume, accurate data entry into internal systems
- Process and manage logistics documentation including Bills of Lading, Purchase Orders, Manifests, and Pick Tickets
- Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal teams
- Generate and maintain reports from various systems
- Assist with billing-related tasks as needed
- Support consolidation, cross-docking, and Port of Entry (POE) clerical processes
- Maintain organized records and ensure data accuracy
- Prioritize workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Reliable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Background in logistics, transportation, or distribution environments
- Familiarity with billing processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel
- Experience creating and working with Excel formulas
