Shipping Lead
Location: Rancho Cucamonga
Pay Rate: $24.00-$24.00/hr
Schedule: Start time 8:00 AM (Overtime & Saturdays as needed)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shipping Lead to oversee daily outbound operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient, and on-time shipments while leading and supporting warehouse staff. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate outbound shipments
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and maintain productivity standards
Lead, coach, and support warehouse staff to meet operational goals
Coordinate shipping workflow with internal departments
Manage shipping documentation, including BOLs and carrier paperwork
Ensure proper truck loading and staging of shipments
Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Train new employees and provide ongoing guidance to team members
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations (manufacturing preferred)
3 years of forklift operation experience
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Ability to lift 75 lbs and follow all safety procedures (PPE required)
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team
