What We Are Looking For
- Post-secondary in accounting or similar field of study
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience within a corporate environment
- Enrollment in an accounting designation program is requiredledger process and general accounting principles
- Knowledge of the general ledger process and general accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Review, code, and enter invoices with proper documentation and approvals; prioritize invoices by payment terms and process check requests.
- Match invoices to checks, obtain required signatures, distribute payments, and manage vendor statements by researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Sort and distribute accounts payable–related mail and respond promptly to vendor inquiries.
- Maintain vendor records including W‑9s, 1099 documentation, and insurance certificates (Workers’ Comp, General Liability, Auto).
- Reconcile and manage company credit cards and utility invoices, ensuring accurate coding, timely payments, and audit-ready records.
- Assist with month-end close activities, run required reports, and support audit requests.
- Maintain accurate files and documentation in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborate in-office with team members and assist with additional projects and duties as needed.
