The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be a key player in shaping and executing the firm's business development initiatives. You will work closely with practice group leaders and attorneys, executing business development initiatives as well as building and delivering market intelligence, strategic support, and high-impact materials needed to win new business and deepen existing client relationships. This role offers a unique blend of strategy, analysis, and hands-on execution in a collaborative and high-achieving environment.
What You'll Do
- Strategy & Execution: Implement dynamic marketing and business development plans that align with practice group goals and firm-wide objectives.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth research and competitive analysis on clients, prospects, and industry trends to deliver actionable insights.
- Proposals & Pitches: Lead the development of compelling RFP responses, proposals, and client presentations, continuously refining messaging and materials to elevate our brand.
- Content & Collateral: Create innovative marketing materials and manage high-impact submissions for prestigious legal rankings and directories.
- Data & Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on the success of business development initiatives, using data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Relationship Management: Utilize CRM tools to support strategic outreach, manage key relationships, and track activity across the firm.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with attorneys and senior stakeholders, providing exceptional service and proactively identifying creative opportunities to engage target audiences.
What You'll Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 years of marketing or business development experience, ideally within a law firm or at minimum a professional services environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail in client-facing materials.
- Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset combined with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM systems is required; familiarity with Monitor Suite and/or Redwood Analytics is a plus.

Salary : $125,000 - $160,000
