Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on petroleum fueling equipment including Wayne, Veeder Root, Franklin Fueling, and Gasboy systems.
- Install, troubleshooting, and repair components such as fuel dispensers, motors, piping, and tank sensors.
- Respond to after-hours emergency service requests in an on-call rotation.
- Read and interpret scopes of work, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Assemble/disassemble mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components in the field.
- Complete all required documentation and reports following service visits.
- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and inventory.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including confined space and ladder safety.
- Use company provided PPE and attend regular safety meetings.
- Interface professionally with customers, vendors, and local enforcement agencies.
- Ensure compliance with construction site safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Leverage computer programming knowledge and basic IT skills to support diagnostics and system upgrades.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and company software to manage service records and communication.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on mechanical, electrical, or plumbing experience.
- Experience working with petroleum or fueling systems strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and safe troubleshooting practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid Driver’s License (required); ability to travel daily to job sites.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, on ladders, and in outdoor conditions.
