Emmy Squared Pizza is coming to Greenwich, CT! We are seeking experienced Line Cooks to join our opening team and deliver exceptional dining experiences! Your Role as a Line Cook:
As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. You will:
- Prepare all menu items with precision, consistency, and adherence to recipes.
- Maintain sanitation standards that meet health department guidelines.
- Organize and uphold assigned kitchen workstations.
- Coordinate food production to align with service hours, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Practice safe food handling and proper storage techniques.
- Report maintenance and repair needs for kitchen equipment to management.
- Keep work areas clean and equipment well-maintained.
- Perform other back-of-house duties as assigned by management.
What You Bring to the Table:
- At least 1 year of experience as a line cook in a full-service restaurant.
- Knowledge of modern cooking techniques; pizza expertise is a plus!
- A passion for food and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Calm and welcoming demeanor, even under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical capability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs., push/pull up to 75 lbs., and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with culinary tools and the ability to taste and smell for quality assurance.
