Emmy Squared Park Slope is hiring an EXPEDITOR to join our growing team! Expo Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the flow of orders from waiters to the kitchen to diners.
- Ensure orders are completed quickly and correctly.
- Assist with the finishing touches on dishes.
- Conduct quality control on each dish.
- Keeping the cooking, storage, and prep areas clean, neat, and well-stocked.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards.
- Assess all staff as needed.
Expo Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience as an expeditor in a full-service restaurant. A love for food is a must and pizza knowledge is a plus!
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift / carry items up to 40 lbs. and push / pull items up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching overhead.
