Machine Shop Supervisor
Location: Plainstow, NH
Compensation: $25/HR
Job Type: Full-time, 2nd or 3rd Turn
Experience: Experience in a machine shop (supervisory experience preferred)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee daily machining operations and ensure efficient, high-quality production. You’ll be hands-on with CNC machines while also leading a team, enforcing safety, and maintaining production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate machining activities in the shop
- Set up and operate CNC, manual, and semi-automated equipment
- Train team members on equipment use and safety procedures
- Ensure production meets quality control standards and deadlines
- Document processes, irregularities, and communicate across shifts
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of machining experience (including CNC and manual operations)
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Skilled in CNC programming (Haas machines preferred)
- Knowledge of tooling, process development, and precision measurement tools
- Must work well in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
**2nd Shift runs 4pm-12am. 3rd Shift runs 12am-8am**
