We are seeking a Cost Control Construction Manager to join our team and support the development and monitoring of project budgets and costs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost control strategies and plans to support the company's financial objectives
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project budgets and financial plans
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to support business decision-making
- Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cost control practices and processes
- Provide leadership and mentorship to cost control staff
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 5 years of experience in cost control, project engineering, project management, or related field.
- Heavy Highway Construction experience - preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
- Knowledge of industry regulations and financial best practices
- Familiarity with construction accounting and job costing
