Principal Responsibilities
Knowledge of: Employment law, payroll and benefit administration, HRIS management (Paycor and/or BambooHR preferred), and general HR best practices.
Abilities: Handle confidential information with discretion; communicate professionally and effectively; multitask and meet deadlines; collaborate across departments; and maintain accuracy and organization in documentation.
Working Conditions: Standard office environment with regular computer and phone use. Occasional travel within Greene County and surrounding areas.

Principal Responsibilities
- Process accurate bi-weekly payroll and maintain payroll records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, terminations, and annual open enrollment
- Coordinate benefit eligibility audits and maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS
- Maintain personnel files and HR documentation in compliance with federal, state, OhioMHAS, and CARF requirements
- Serve as the point of contact for general HR questions related to policies, pay, and benefits
- Assist in recruiting, screening, scheduling interviews, and facilitating onboarding and orientation of new hires
- Oversee the Learning Management System and ensure compliance with all required training for each type of position (e.g., clinical, housing, admin)
- Participate in updating and maintaining accurate job descriptions and HR forms
- Assist in HR policy and procedure development and implementation
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee and organizational information
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies, including ADA, FLSA, HIPAA, and CARF standards
- Adhere to all organizational and departmental policies and procedures, including compliance with all behavioral, ethical, and client boundary expectations
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification required
- 2 years of HR or payroll/benefits experience preferred
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms; Paycor and/or BambooHR experience preferred
- Experience working in behavioral health, nonprofit, or human services environment is a plus
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
