What you will be doing
- Improve SQL Server performance and scalability.
- Design, optimize, and maintain stored procedures, views, indexes, and queries.
- Analyze slow queries and improve execution plans and indexing strategies.
- Work with product and business stakeholders to turn requirements into working features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs across the entire stack.
- Guide and mentor junior developers as needed.
Technical Breakdown:
- 65% – 70%: JavaScript, jQuery, and Frontend development.
- 25% – 30%: SQL Server (performance tuning, optimization, schema design).
- 5% – 10%: C# and ASP.NET MVC Backend work.
What will help you succeed
- Strong experience with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and JSON.
- Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures, views, functions, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC and C#.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Comfort working independently and owning deliverables.
Nice to have experience
- UX fundamentals.
- Reporting tools such as SSRS.
- Experience supporting a growing SaaS or product-based platform.
