Minimum areas in your background that are required to be considered:

Local to NE Ohio or moving back here for a reason other than just a job

Must be U.S. citizen to be considered.

You must either have the C.P.A. or C.M.A certification, or planning to achieve them.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business/finance

M.B.A. would be a plus.

You must have current/recent 4-7 years experience doing accounting and costing within mfg/distr/supply chain environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
• Lead cost accounting activities, including product costing and variance analysis
• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Build and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
• Bill of Materials (BOM) and experience with cost structure and production engineering variables.
• Partner with operations and leadership to analyze performance and cost drivers
• Support audits, process improvements, and system enhancements
• Serve as a finance systems resource for financial software and it's ERP counterpart.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA / CMA preferred
• 4 years in public accounting with cost accounting experience
• Strong cost accounting and GAAP reporting experience
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
