Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs, behaviors, and physical status
- Assist with meals, snacks, and hydration as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including their living areas and common spaces
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Participate in in-service training and educational programs to stay current with industry developments and best practices
What You'll Need:
- Current CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
