What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office and marketing Assistant-Part Time position at Emerald Events?
Duties will include office work, basic book keeping, making spreadsheets, sending emails, answering calls, designing email campaigns, scheduling staff and assisting the CEO and occasionally helping at our offsite events when needed and marketing our services to new and existing customers
Good phone manner, friendly and pleasurable demeanor required. Ability to handle numerous calls and follow up with emails and letters proficiently.
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office and Google Docs applications required incl. Outlook, Google Docs and Google Calendar. **This is a requirement.**
Knowledge of social media required to make posts and run campaigns.
Knowledge of Quickbooks is a distinct advantage and you will be required to know these applications.
Knowledge of graphics and design programs is beneficial in addition to email marketing programs.
Must be conscientious and reliable.
Flexible Office Hours
Also some event work may be required at our parties and events at occasional weekends so need to be able to do this (seldom).
Looking for someone who wants to stay long term in a part time position. There will be some weeks that more hours are required, some weeks with less and may have some weeks of full time work.
Work days will typically be during week days with some weekend hours to check messages. Occasionally may be more full time periods during year.
