Emerald Canning Partners is looking for a Tagger/Order Fulfillment Technician to join our team in a high-speed, dynamic production environment. Emerald Canning Partners is a leading beverage producer and co-packaging facility specializing in the development, production, packaging, and distribution of a diverse range of beverages.
Job Overview:
The Tagger / Order Fulfillment Technician is a dual-role position responsible for applying product tags and labels accurately, performing final quality inspections on finished products, and fulfilling customer orders with precision. This role ensures all products leaving the facility are properly tagged, compliant, and packaged correctly for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working across both the tagging and order fulfillment departments to support smooth daily operations.
Duties:
- Accurately apply product tags, METRC labels, and COA stickers to all products according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each SKU and production run
- Serve as a final quality control checkpoint by thoroughly inspecting all products for defects, inconsistencies, or labeling errors before they are shipped to customers
- Maintain a high level of output while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail on every tagged product
- Properly operate the banding machine, pallet jack, and other tagging equipment
- Ensure finished product is safely and neatly stored in the appropriate area and logged accurately each day
- Ensure tagging areas and workspaces are clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Follow all tagging procedures and SOPs consistently; identify and communicate opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and workflow
- Ensure orders are packed, banded, accurate, and ready for transport
- Ensure all inventory in the orders room is accurate and tracked
- Track movement of all products coming into and leaving the building to ensure compliance
- Communicate with the production team on inventory levels and help with forecasting to ensure sufficient but not excessive inventories are maintained
- Follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory management methods and protocols
- Remain current and knowledgeable about inventory compliance changes and CRA regulations
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, tagging, or manufacturing preferred
- Extremely high level of attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ongoing sense of urgency
- Excellent time management skills
- Proven ability to work well with others
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to remain on your feet for an entire shift
Working Conditions:
- The work for this position will be in a climate-controlled, smoke free environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with some periods being loud.
- This position will be regularly scheduled for Mon-Fri with occasional Saturday.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
