Position Summary
EME is seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an established Mechanical Engineer with four (4) to eight (8) years of experience who possesses a passion for engineering design and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing new and existing component design and analysis using classical methods as well as finite element analysis (FEA) software and leading small to medium complexity engineering analysis projects. You must also be comfortable interacting directly with customers and collaborating with EME's technical staff.
As a smaller company, EME operates with fewer layers between engineers and decision-making, allowing engineers to take on direct project and customer responsibility earlier than they would at a larger firm. Staff average 10 years of tenure with the company, and new engineers work closely with senior staff as part of day-to-day project work, not through a formal separate training program.
EME's technical career path is structured around Senior, Consulting, and Fellow Engineer levels, advanced through a combination of experience, credentials, and demonstrated work, allowing engineers to grow their technical scope and responsibility over time.
