We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Product Management Consultant who thrives at the intersection of product strategy, delivery, stakeholder alignment, and transformation execution. This individual will lead complex product initiatives from ideation through implementation while partnering across business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and executive leadership teams to drive measurable outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings a strong product mindset paired with consulting agility — someone who can balance long-term vision with structured execution, navigate ambiguity, build trusted relationships, and create clarity across large, matrixed environments. This role requires strong communication skills, thoughtful prioritization, change management awareness, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams while driving momentum and accountability.

This is a full-time consulting opportunity supporting enterprise clients across financial services, healthcare, energy, and other industries. A background in financial services and experience operating within regulated environments is strongly preferred.

Role Summary

As a Product Management Consultant, you will partner with client leadership and cross-functional teams to shape product strategy, define roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and drive execution across enterprise product ecosystems. You will help organizations modernize capabilities, improve customer and teammate experiences, and bring structure to complex transformation initiatives while ensuring alignment between business objectives and delivery outcomes.

In addition to core product responsibilities, you will help establish governance structures, facilitate decision-making, manage dependencies, and support organizational readiness and change adoption throughout the product lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating value beyond delivery expectations, and serving as a trusted partner to both clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise product initiatives from discovery and planning through execution, delivery, and adoption while aligning cross-functional teams around shared business outcomes.
• Partner with business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and executive stakeholders to define product vision, priorities, roadmaps, requirements, and measurable success criteria.
• Drive structured product delivery across Agile environments by managing timelines, dependencies, risks, governance cadences, sprint planning, prioritization sessions, and executive reporting.
• Support product modernization, digital transformation, process optimization, and operational improvement initiatives across complex enterprise environments.
• Establish and maintain delivery frameworks, KPI tracking, governance models, and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into product performance, program health, and strategic progress.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, collaboration, and a value-added consulting approach while influencing alignment across varying levels of seniority and navigating ambiguity effectively.
• Drive organizational readiness and change management efforts to support successful product adoption, stakeholder engagement, and long-term business impact.
• Create executive-ready communications, facilitate workshops and decision-making sessions, and support audit-ready documentation, issue remediation tracking, and regulatory alignment where applicable.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, mentorship, culture building, and continuous improvement initiatives within Ember.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience within financial services, banking, capital markets, insurance, or other regulated industries
• Exposure to healthcare, energy, or large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives
• Experience supporting digital product modernization or platform transformation efforts
• Ability to influence without authority across large organizations
• Familiarity with enterprise governance models, operating models, and delivery frameworks
• Experience working in fast-paced consulting environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Enthusiasm for mentoring, collaboration, and contributing to a strong internal culture

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Product Management, Product Delivery, Program Management, or related consulting roles
• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives within enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, product operating models, and structured delivery practices
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills
• Experience navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across business and technology organizations
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus

Hiring Location

This is a full-time consulting opportunity supporting hybrid client environments based on engagement needs and team collaboration expectations. While flexibility may vary by client, we are ideally seeking candidates located in the New York City or Charlotte areas who are comfortable operating in both remote and onsite settings as needed.
