Senior Construction Superintendent

Location: Santa Fe, NM

I'm working with a well-established General Contractor who is looking to bring on an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee projects in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

This is a great opportunity to join a GC with a strong portfolio of public sector construction projects across K-12 education, healthcare and municipal construction.

The Role

• Oversee day-to-day site operations from project start through to completion.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel to ensure projects run safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to maintain project schedules and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Monitor quality control and ensure all work meets project specifications and building codes.
• Lead site meetings and coordinate daily construction activities.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues, keeping projects moving in line with agreed schedules.
• Enforce health and safety standards across the jobsite.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Superintendent or Superintendent with a commercial General Contractor.
• Strong background in ground-up and/or renovation commercial construction.
• Experience with K-12 education, healthcare, municipal or other public sector projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, site logistics, subcontractor coordination and quality control.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage site operations independently and drive projects through to successful completion.
• Must be able to work on-site in Santa Fe, NM.
