Senior Superintendent – K-12 Construction
Location: DFW, Texas (Fort Worth area)
A well-established General Contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Superintendent to join their team in the DFW area, overseeing K-12 construction projects, including ground-up school builds and renovations.
This is an opportunity for a driven construction professional with a strong background in school projects who can lead on-site operations, manage subcontractors and deliver projects safely, on schedule and to a high standard.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects, with a strong focus on K-12.
- Proven experience managing both ground-up school construction and renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Ability to develop, manage and maintain project schedules to meet key deadlines.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and project documents.
- Experience conducting site inspections, managing punch lists and overseeing project closeout.
- Strong understanding of site safety practices and OSHA requirements.
- Ability to identify potential issues, resolve on-site challenges and keep projects progressing efficiently.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work closely with Project Managers, clients, architects and subcontractors.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities throughout the construction process.
- Must be able to commute to project sites in the Fort Worth area.
- A stable employment history with a track record of successfully delivering projects.
