About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established general contractor based in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area, specializing in high-rise construction projects. With a focus on multi-family, hotel, and office towers, they have built a reputation for delivering exceptional, ground-up developments. Due to their growing portfolio and successful track record, they are now looking for a talented Project Manager to oversee the successful completion of complex high-rise projects.

Position Overview:

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of high-rise construction projects, including multi-family residential buildings, hotel towers, and office complexes. You will lead the coordination of all project activities, ensuring that every phase is executed smoothly, safely, and within budget.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing large-scale ground-up developments, proficient across all 16-CSI trade classifications, and capable of working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver the best possible results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management and execution of high-rise construction projects (multi-family, hotel, and office towers).
  • Oversee the coordination of all 16-CSI trade classifications to ensure all project components are integrated smoothly.
  • Develop, implement, and track project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and local regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and approve project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and contracts.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, addressing potential issues before they impact the schedule or budget.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to keep everyone informed on project progress.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in high-rise construction, including multi-family, hotel, and office tower projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of all 16-CSI trade classifications and their application in complex construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up, large-scale developments from design through to project close-out.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • PMP certification or similar credentials are a plus, but not required.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar tools.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $140,000 annually, based on experience.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
