- Maintains general ledger activity for assigned entities, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepares and analyzes monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
- Reconciles bank statements and investigates discrepancies
- Assists with budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks as assigned
- Assists with external audits, tax preparation, and other regulatory filings as needed
- Continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or degree in business with relatable experience)
- 4 years minimum experience in corporate accounting
- CPA certification preferred
- Frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.
