- Support the Accounting Manager and collaborate closely with leadership across One Elmington, including Property Management, Accounting, and Operations.
- Assist with accounting functions including GL accounting, financial reporting, and data aggregation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to collect, organize, and present operational and financial data.
- Build, improve, and automate financial templates and reporting tools (e.g., budget planning templates, financial reporting models).
- Identify inconsistencies in data and processes; develop recommendations to prevent errors and improve accuracy.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and cost modeling (e.g., evaluating insurance benefit changes, operational cost impacts).
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner for leadership review.
- Serve as a go-to resource for special projects across the business.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or degree in business with relatable experience)
- 2β5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
- Strong understanding of GL accounting, debit/credit, and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills required (including formulas, pivot tables, macros, automation).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and communicate findings clearly.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident working on broad, undefined projects.
- Frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
