Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Family Medicine & Emergency Care

Ellsworth County Medical Center (ECMC) is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Medical Staff team. This unique role combines family medicine, emergency care, and on-call coverage—offering you the opportunity to provide a full spectrum of care in a supportive, community-focused environment. 🩺❤️
What You’ll Do

🩺 Deliver comprehensive family medicine care – provide preventative services, evaluate new concerns, manage chronic conditions, and handle urgent patient needs in the clinic

🚑 Serve in the Emergency Department – provide initial evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and coordination of transfers for patients presenting with emergent needs

📞 Participate in on-call rotation – share responsibility for after-hours and weekend coverage, ensuring seamless patient care and community access to essential services

🔍 Identify concerns early – differentiate between normal and abnormal findings to address physical, emotional, and mental health needs promptly

🤝 Collaborate across teams – work closely with hospital departments, medical staff, and specialty providers to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care

📑 Ensure compliance – adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as ECMC’s established policies and quality standards

✅Non-production-based compensation model Additional compensation for call (call pay plus with RVUs) is ⬆️$70,000-$100,000

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS |
|
|
Education: |
Completion of an accredited nursing program with master’s degree and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program; or Completion of a four-year accredited physician assistant program and a year of clinical training; or |
|
Experience: |
Previous experience related to the management of inpatients and ED care required. Women’s Health and/or GYN experience strongly preferred. |

Preferred Skills: |

Certifications/Registrations: |
Current state license to practice as a Physician Assistant or APRN, ACLS and PALS current or within 90 days of hire, ATLS current or within 6 months of hire, BLS. |
