In this role, you’ll perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety for every patient. You’ll be a key clinical partner to our providers, contributing your expertise to accurate diagnoses, efficient workflows, and exceptional patient experiences — all in a supportive rural healthcare setting where your skills truly matter.
🔍 What You’ll Do
Patient-Centered Imaging

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with national guidelines

Prioritize patient care, including critical and emergent cases

Ensure patient comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout exams
Clinical Excellence

Review exams for technical accuracy and present studies to the radiologist

Communicate relevant findings to the care team following procedures

Maintain strong attention to detail and image quality standards
Quality & Operations

Participate in quality assurance initiatives and departmental QA measures

Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies

Contribute to efficient department operations and workflow improvements

Complete required competencies and continuing education
Collaboration & Professionalism

Work closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams

Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and independent clinical judgment

Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (or registry-eligible)

Must qualify for and obtain ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT registry
(Registry-eligible candidates must pass the registry at the next available test date after hire)
