We're currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Leadership Team as our Director of Staff Development / Infection Preventionist.

What You'll Do
In this leadership role, you'll help ensure our clinical team has the knowledge, training, and resources needed to provide exceptional resident care.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan, develop, coordinate, and lead new employee orientation (NEO)
- Develop and conduct staff education, in-service training, and continuing education programs
- Oversee the Nursing Assistant Training Program and Feeding Assistant Program
- Support compliance initiatives and assist with developing and implementing Plans of Correction
- Lead infection prevention efforts while maintaining regulatory compliance
- Partner with nursing leadership to promote clinical excellence and continuous improvement
- Mentor, educate, and support staff throughout their professional development
What We're Looking For
- Current and valid West Virginia RN license
- Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
- 3 years of nursing experience
- At least 1 year of long-term care experience
- Previous staff education or in-service training experience preferred
- Infection Preventionist Certification required
- Certified CPR Instructor preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Supervisory experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Proven leadership abilities with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
