Hours: Approximately 2–4 hours per week total

We’re seeking a licensed barber or hair stylist to provide haircuts to residents in our on-site salon. If you’re looking to supplement your existing work with a few flexible hours and enjoy building relationships with the people in your chair, we’d love to meet you.

· Flexible hours: Coordinate a schedule that works for you and our residents. Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays are preferred, with specific days and times open for discussion.

What You’ll Do

· Provide haircuts based on residents’ preferences and within the scope of your professional license

· Coordinate with ERCC staff to arrange appointments for residents who have signed up

· Offer a patient, friendly experience that respects each resident’s comfort and dignity

· Adjust your approach to individual needs, coordinating with facility staff for assistance when appropriate

· Maintain clean tools and a sanitary workspace

· Follow applicable sanitation standards and facility infection prevention procedures

What We’re Looking For

· A current, valid West Virginia license authorizing the haircutting services provided, along with any other required credentials or registrations

· Professional haircutting skills and attention to individual preferences

· A dependable approach to scheduling and communication

· Patience, compassion, and comfort working with older adults

· A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming salon experience

Experience working with older adults or in a nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus, but not required.

How the Arrangement Works

This is a contract service opportunity rather than an hourly staff position. Residents sign up for haircuts, and appointments are coordinated around your agreed availability and resident needs.

Payment may be made directly by residents, or ERCC may collect payment from residents and compensate you for completed services. Service pricing, payment timing, salon access, and responsibility for tools and supplies will be agreed upon before starting.
