Motorplex Assistant
Motorplex Assistants play a key role in delivering a safe, fun, and memorable experience for guests at the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex at Road America. This position supports karting and supermoto events by assisting with flagging, rental kart operations, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Flagging for karting and supermoto race events
- Assisting with rental kart operations including:
- Refueling karts
- Staging and rotating karts
- Basic checks between sessions
- Assisting customers with check-in, waivers, and general questions
- Monitoring the pit and paddock areas to maintain safety and organization
- Providing friendly, professional customer service to participants and spectators
- Supporting event staff with setup, teardown, and general operations
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Interest in motorsports
- Flexible availability, including days, weekends, and holidays
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear and use hands
- Exposure to noise and fast-moving objects
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
