HIRING RANGE: $24.87-$27.64/hour based on education and position related experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing child support cases, providing child support services, preparing pleadings and other correspondence to ensure custodial parties receive their court ordered support payments, and providing assistance to Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys.

Job Summary

Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED and 18 months related training or education beyond high school
- Knowledge of Elkhart County courts system and operations, including laws and legal terminology, administrative regulations, and official court policies and practices; ability to apply appropriate procedures to assigned duties accordingly
- Knowledge of standard English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and ability to type with speed and accuracy
- Ability to prepare pleadings, petitions, related correspondence, and reports
- Pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
